President / Principal Structural Engineer
Scott Fournier founded SNSolutions, a structural/construction/forensic consulting firm, in 2018 and later co-founded Integrated Steel in 2019 to combine his expertise and creativity in design and passion for construction. With 25+ years of experience in the field of structural engineering, Scott has been active in the design, project management, and forensic analysis of hundreds of projects across the United States. Scott has extensive experience working with all building and material types, including small wood-framed structures, large steel-framed sporting venues, and everything in between.
Founding Integrated Steel along with SNSolutions has enabled Scott to provide consulting, expert analyses, peer reviews, and advisory services to all types of clients from large multi-disciplined design firms to small remodeling contractors on design, construction, constructability, and the standard of care required during all stages of the design and construction process.
Between Scott’s 4 years of working in the construction field before graduating college, his 9 years in Structural Consulting, and his 12 years of work and ownership of an Architectural firm, Scott has garnered the knowledge and skills to work with all client types as an advisor to mitigate risks associated with building design and construction by utilizing his knowledge of design to creatively solve construction challenges.
Scott is a native of Grand Forks, ND where he currently resides with his wife. Scott has two adult daughters and a son. Upon graduation from North Dakota State University, Scott spent 8 years in the Fargo area working for a large structural consulting firm before returning to Grand Forks in 2006 to partner with a startup Architectural Firm. Outside of the office, Scott enjoys time with his family at the lake, downhill skiing, hockey, hunting with his son, and vacationing with his wife of 25 years.
Director of Engineering / Design
Nathan Benson co-founded Integrated Steel in 2019. He has over 15 years in the field of Structural Engineering and has been a licensed engineer for over 20 years. Nathan has been integrally involved in developing, designing, and managing projects throughout the United States. His experience working with a diverse range of structural materials showcases a versatile skill set.
Nathan is focused on a client-centric approach, collaborating closely to comprehend goals and constraints, and subsequently developing design solutions that excel in practicality and cost-effectiveness. His proficiency extends beyond technical focus to include the establishing and growing of long-term client relationships, contributing to the success of each project he undertakes.
Nathan is a native of Grand Forks, ND where he currently resides with his wife and two children. Upon graduation from North Dakota State University, Nathan spent 10 years in the Minneapolis/St Paul area working in manufacturing and Civil Engineering. He returned to Grand Forks in 2007 and professionally focused on Structural Engineering. Outside of the office, Nathan enjoys time with his family, watching his children participate in their sports passions of volleyball, hockey, and baseball.
Director of Operations
Jeremy Fournier joined as a partner in Integrated Steel in 2023 after a successful 15-year tenure with a Fortune 200 company. Bringing extensive experience in Operational Leadership, Jeremy has demonstrated success across various functions, including Production, Service, Quality Control, Merchandise Management, and Logistics.
As the Director of Operations, Jeremy oversees the coordination of all departments to ensure the efficient, cost-effective production of high-quality products that meet the needs of all stakeholders. He is deeply committed to fostering a safe, inclusive work environment that encourages growth and collaboration across the organization.
Originally from Grand Forks, ND, Jeremy earned his Finance degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder. Now residing in Florida with his wife, two children, and a dog, Jeremy stays active by playing hockey weekly, all while supporting Integrated Steel’s national expansion.
Project Manager
Travis Pearce joined Integrated Steel in 2020. He has performed leadership roles at previous jobs with experience in Production, Quality Control, Scheduling, and Department Leadership. He took on a leadership role quickly and worked his way to his current position, as Project Manager.
As Project Manager, Travis is responsible for client satisfaction and communication throughout the project lifecycle. He prides himself in his work ethic and problem-solving ability and encourages those attitudes within the Integrated Steel operation.
Travis grew up in Larimore, ND, and moved to Grand Forks, ND in 2011 where he met his wife, Emily. They have been happily married since 2019 and continue to reside in Grand Forks. Travis has a great interest in sports along with his two dogs and cat. He also loves to travel with his wife and friends annually. Travis continues to learn more and grow with Integrated Steel to continue to expand our horizons and inspire growth.
Installation Coordinator
Randy Bakke joined Integrated Steel in the pivotal position of Installation Coordinator in July of 2022. He brings to his role over 25 years of dedicated experience in the steel stud industry. Originally from West Fargo, ND, Randy's journey began as a laborer in drywall, steadily advancing to become a skilled framer. Over a remarkable eighteen-year tenure with his previous company, he honed his craft and ascended to the position of Foreman.
Relocating to Buxton, ND, in 2018, Randy embraced new challenges with a new company as a General Contractor. He swiftly rose to the role of Superintendent within three years. Randy now leverages his extensive background to enhance Integrated Steel’s field operations.
Beyond the professional realm, Randy finds fulfillment in bow hunting and dedicates his summers to tuning up race cars.
Production Specialist
Michael West joined Integrated Steel in 2020. He worked five years at ATI Steel in Pittsburgh, PA as a furnace and mill operator. His prior experience in steel production and quality control provided him with the tools to be successful at Integrated Steel.
As a Production Specialist, Michael oversees the machinery and manufacturing of our cold-formed steel materials. He must ensure the steel complies with our ICC regulations as well as take preventative measures for production.
Michael is originally from Chicago, IL. He now resides in Grand Forks ND with his wife and children. He is a proud father that loves to coach his children’s basketball and football teams, and “root” for the Chicago Bears on Sundays.
